One more time

Okay, just had to request one more time that Blogger.com un-spam this blog. Here's the message I get after I submit and fumble through the word verification to even send the request:

Request Received

We have received your request for a review to verify that your blog is not a spam blog. Someone will look over your blog and respond to hbp at earth dot net
Find out more about how Blogger is fighting spam blogs.

Do you think it will work this time? Has this blog gotten totally lame or what? Six requests now. It's official. Doesn't anyone out there know a human being at Blogger.com? Is there anyone I can contact who can get this blog reviewed? I've left numerous messages at their forum, but they seem to ignore those, too. What is wrong with Blogger.com?

Now off to type in my word verification several times so I can publish this.

I hope it works, Dani. This is an honest to goodness useful blog. I added a link today on my blog in my post.

I don't know if it will work or not, Dani.

I don't mind having to do the word verification when I leave comments. I hate the blogs that don't allow Name/URL because I usually leave my author web site; I have a blog on LiveJournal but it's rarely about writing or books. :)

Amber, make a little signature file for yourself to use on Blogger, something like this:

Holly Jahangiri, author of Trockle.

You have to know how to code a simple HTML anchor tag, but it's not hard - and it's just a quick copy/paste when you comment.

I use word verification on my blog because otherwise, I'd have to moderate all comments to ensure they remained free of pharmaceutical spam offering to enlarge body parts I don't have. At least Blogger's, unlike Tripod's, is readable.

Hah...sorry - never noticed the "Name/URL" option for posting here, since I've been a Blogger blogger almost since the beginning.

Again, show that non-spam blogs are linking to you:

It must finally sink in to them! Good luck!

Good luck. I finally gave up after several requests to review my blog, and I moved to WordPress. I have to say, I'm very happy there so far!
